Overzicht

De Quality Specialist is verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden, verbeteren en borgen van het Quality Management System volgens PepsiCo‑ en internationale standaarden. De rol ondersteunt de dagelijkse operatie, leidt kwaliteitsonderzoeken en bewaakt corrigerende acties. Als vakspecialist binnen het QHSE‑team werk je nauw samen met productie, Food Safety en HSE.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Beheren, verbeteren en waarborgen van het kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem.
• Leiding geven aan kwaliteitsonderzoeken, root cause analyses (5Why) en opvolging van acties.
• Monitoren van kwaliteits‑KPI’s, analyseren van klachten en trends en initiëren van verbeteringen.
• Ondersteunen en coördineren van interne en externe audits (QAS, GCS) inclusief opvolging van actieplannen.
• Samenwerken met QHSE‑coördinatoren en dagelijkse ondersteuning bieden bij kwaliteitsvraagstukken.

Kwalificaties

• HBO/WO‑opleiding in Levensmiddelentechnologie of een vergelijkbare richting.
• 1–3 jaar ervaring binnen kwaliteit, QHSE of productie in een FMCG‑omgeving.
• Kennis van kwaliteitssystemen, standaarden en basisprobleemoplossingstools.
• Sterke analytische en communicatieve vaardigheden; proactief en nauwkeurig.
• In staat om effectief te werken in een dynamische productieomgeving en prioriteiten te stellen.

The Quality Specialist ensures the maintenance, improvement and compliance of the plant’s Quality Management System in line with PepsiCo and international standards. The role supports daily operations, leads quality investigations, drives corrective actions and supports audits. This position acts as a key expert within the QHSE team, collaborating closely with production, Food Safety and HSE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and ensure compliance of the plant’s Quality Management System.
• Lead quality investigations, root-cause analyses (5Why) and corrective actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs, analyse complaints and trends, and initiate improvement actions.
• Support and coordinate internal and external audits (QAS, GCS), including action follow‑up.
• Cooperate with QHSE Coordinators and provide daily operational support in quality matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Food Technology or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality, QHSE or FMCG production environment.
• Solid understanding of quality systems, standards and basic problem‑solving tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and manage priorities.
