Infrastructure Business Project Manager
The world is at your feet as a Project Manager at KLM. You’ll not only work on complex cloud migrations and phasing out outdated systems, but also contribute to future-proof infrastructure solutions. What will you do?
You will lead IT infrastructure projects that have an impact across multiple business units within KLM and the Air France-KLM Group IT. You’ll ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards. You’ll interact with many stakeholders and have a sharp sense for distinguishing priorities. You'll bring structure to projects that involve both technical and organizational complexity.
Additionally, you will:
- Draft project plans and monitor budget, scope, timelines, and quality;
- Functionally lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure clear task division;
- Maintain close contact with internal and external stakeholders and ensure their engagement;
- Identify risks and take immediate action to manage them;
- Ensure effective communication with the steering committee, project owner, and team members.
Where do you land?
Your base will be at Schiphol-Rijk, at the KLM IT office, working closely with colleagues from the BRM IT4IT & Commodities team. This team is part of the Distributed Services division within Group IT. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from various IT disciplines—from development to operations. Together, you will build a stable, secure, and innovative infrastructure for KLM.
Your profile
You switch effortlessly between strategy and execution. You know how to bring people along, make decisions when necessary, and understand the consequences. You’re not afraid of difficult conversations, remain calm under pressure, and don’t let setbacks discourage you. You take responsibility for shared results and actively seek collaboration.
- You have a university degree in IT or Business Administration;
- You have extensive experience in project management within complex IT environments;
- You are IPMA and/or Prince2 certified;
- You have broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, and service management (ITIL);
- You are familiar with agile methodologies such as SAFe;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
